Bending
Metal bending transforms flat sheets into 3D geometries by applying controlled mechanical force, forming precise folds at target angles with dedicated press brake tooling. Prior to bending, workpieces are usually pre-processed by cutting operations to achieve accurate part outlines.
Countersink & Counterbore
Countersink and counterbore operations machine tapered or recessed cavities to allow fastener heads to sit flush below the part surface. Common included angles include 45° and 90°, with machined features held within defined dimensional tolerances
Sheet Cutting
Cutting shapes raw sheet stock into finished 2D flat blanks. It delivers tight dimensional tolerances for thin materials, while tolerance margins increase for thicker plates, complying with minimum size and hole-to-edge distance design rules.
Hardware Insertion
Hardware insertion permanently embeds press-fit fasteners into sheet-metal substrates. It requires sufficient base-material thickness for reliable installation; the acceptable hole dimension is determined by the selected fastener model.
Tapping
Tapping creates internal threaded holes within metal workpieces for screw assembly. Manual tapping is applicable for large-format flat sheets within certain dimensional limits, while thread quality relies on proper hole-to-edge clearance matched to thread specifications.
Welding
Welding joins separate metal components by fusing material at mating joints. The process supports large-size assemblies, and joint performance is affected by material thickness as well as the root gap between mating workpieces.
