Environmental Sensing KiCad Microcontroller Boards Crowdfunding Project

Summary:       A fully open source ESP32-based PoE+ board with a mikroBUS™ socket and two handy add-on shields

Espoir is a fully compliant Ethernet+ (PoE+ 802.3 af/at) ESP32-based devboard that can let you get right to business. At 5V and 3.3V, it provides up to 15 Watts of power. Four full cooper layer provide the board with enhanced electromagnetic compatibility and thermal dissipation and its PI-filtered power inputs and outputs gives analog performance. In addition, it uses modern USB-C connector.

Espoir owns high connectivity with 16 IOs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C and 100 Base-T Ethernet. Its form factor and

mikroBUS™ header can easily accommodate over a thousand existing add-on boards.

From Smart Gardening to Complete Home Automation

Espoir originated from a market-gardening automation project. Hence, it is designed with outdoor use in mind, handling servomotors, relays, valves and all kinds of sensors. Use it to make ordinary devices smart and complete the home automation. Turn it into a Wi-Fi access point to expand your network, it can be used for smart lighting, access control and motion detection, assembly line tracking, item scanning and even audio applications.
